Why Does My Value Sometimes Decrease, Even If I Didn’t Do Anything?
Your total value when you redeem combines your personal earnings (from your surveys) and the community bonus (shared with everyone on Madai).
When another user redeems their rewards, the community bonus resets to zero for everyone. This can cause the live counter to decrease, even if you haven’t taken any action.
On the other hand, the community bonus builds up again as more users complete surveys. This means the live value can increase over time, even while you’re inactive.
For this reason:
- It’s smart to redeem when you’re satisfied with the total value you see.
- It’s worth coming back regularly, as community activity grows the bonus throughout the day.
Important: Your personal earnings are always secure in your account and never decrease. Only the community bonus is dynamic by design—that’s how CrowdRewarding™ creates shared earning opportunities.
Your personal earnings are automatically secured in your account. Once you register, all your survey rewards are tied to your account and preserved—you can log in from any device and your balance will be there.
About the Community Bonus:
The community bonus is a live, shared value that grows from everyone’s participation. It’s not saved to individual accounts—you claim it when you redeem. This keeps it dynamic and fair for all users.
Your personal earnings are always protected and will never be lost as long as you’re signed up.
Your personal earnings don’t expire by themselves. However, they are linked to specific campaigns, and each campaign has its own expiration rules.
A campaign might expire when:
- Its end date is reached.
- The maximum number of gift cards available has been redeemed.
You can check expiration details under the Terms & Conditions on the campaign’s homepage. After a campaign expires, any unredeemed value in that currency will no longer be available. We recommend redeeming before the listed expiry date to ensure you make full use of your rewards.
Note: The community bonus is always live and resets when someone redeems—it doesn’t carry forward like your personal earnings do.
Redeeming & Rewards
Click Redeem Now to start the redemption process. You’ll see your total value, which includes:
- Personal Earnings — The balance you’ve built from completing surveys
- Community Bonus — The live value from community activity
When you confirm your order, Madai temporarily reserves your value:
- Your personal earnings are deducted from your account balance
- The community bonus is claimed from the live counter
To complete the redemption, choose one of two options:
- Redeem for free with We Pay You — Get your full value at no cost
- Buy your gift card at a discount — Purchase using your earned value
Important: You have a limited time (usually 20 minutes) to complete your redemption. If you don’t finalize your choice, your order will be automatically cancelled and:
- Your personal earnings will be restored to your account
- The community bonus goes back into the live pool for everyone
This time limit keeps the platform fair and real-time for all users.
You can redeem any amount up to your Available Value balance, as often as you like. There are no redemption fees, but there may be minimum redemption thresholds per campaign—check the campaign details for specifics.
Vouchers and codes are typically delivered within 2 working days. Check your email or your Madai account for your voucher code once processing is complete.
Upon first entering Madai, select your preferred reward currency—Amazon gift cards, Bitcoin or PayPal (more options coming soon)—before taking any surveys.
